Words have a power.
Whenever you say them with your mouth or write them down with a pen, their meaning is different.
I love writing because of that: you can play more subtilely with words, add rhythm and take time to rework the matter in your head.
Words are like humans: they have a signification alone. They also have a new signification within a sentence, along other words.
We decide how to write.
We decide how to live.
Tonight I wrote a letter. And it was not for Santa Claus.

Old Laptop Running Ubuntu Linux for Netbooks
I resurrected an old Compaq R4000 15" screen laptop that had been unused since it started locking up on me with Windows XP, I believe because of overheating. I had it packed up for many months, and recently got it working again after loading Ubuntu Linux for Netbooks. It still locks up occasionally after loading Ubuntu, probably because of overheating, and I believe the battery is now weak. I got Ubuntu working fine, even the wireless
modem works after getting an update to support the wireless
chipset. Now I use it for everyday computing, even as I write this and uploaded these photos using the Linux flickr uploading tool. We'll see how long this old laptop will stay working... I had thought it was a useless effort to try to get it working again!
